We’ve been together since 2018. Not a long time by numbers, but long enough to understand that love is more than just feelings.
We entered with expectations of each other, of marriage, of how life should be. And there were times when those expectations were not met. Our priorities did not always align. We felt disappointed, misunderstood, and even lost at times.
But in the middle of that confusion, we found something stronger than our expectations.
We learned that love is not about being perfect. It is about choosing each other, even when the path is unclear. We faced hard conversations, quiet doubts, and moments when we wondered if we were doing this right. Yet we kept showing up, not because it was easy, but because we believed in what we were building.
Through every unmet expectation and misaligned priority, God gently reminded us that He is writing our story, not our fears. We learned to surrender our pride, ask for guidance, and trust that He is helping us grow together.
And so we stayed. We adjusted. We forgave. We chose grace over anger. We chose unity over comfort.
After all the struggles, the lessons, and the growth, my heart still knows where it belongs.
Sa’yo pa rin. Always. 🤍
